Shelly’s Food for Friends is The Vines Village Café - with a sunny courtyard overlooking The Vines to the Richmond Ranges for an iconic vineyard view.

Enjoy our delightful country setting as the lake and native plantings created in the sunny north-facing gardens attracts birds & wild life.

Shelly’s café is open 7 days and serves an excellent range of snacks, vineyard platters, salads, seasonal soups, delicious desserts, ice creams and coffee, all homemade on the premises.

Brunch / breakfast is served from 9 am. Our lunches can be enjoyed undercover in our canvas roofed courtyard (warm winter or summer) or enjoy a shaded table on the lawn.

We are known for a great cup of coffee – beans from Láffare coffee, by our baristas. Savour a vineyard platter of gourmet Marlborough foods with friends, a bottle of wine and some occasional live music for a fantastic vineyard experience.

Our Menu accompanied by Bouldevines wines features: 

• Village Platters... a selection of terrine, meats, seafood, cheeses, crusty breads with local olive oil & dukkah, salad fruit & pickles.
• Cheeseboards or a Marlborough Seafood Platter.
• Homemade Game pies, gluten free frittatas and tortes.
• Fresh soups and salads.
• Grilled sandwiches made with foccacia or sourdough breads.
• Fresh seasonal fruit pound cakes, such as Berry crumble cake, Pear & walnut or Fresh Plum.
• Chocolate brownies and our favourite Kiwi desserts, such as homemade pavlovas in summer and hot fruit puddings in winter.
